| Please turn on your sound to enjoy performances by my students and myself. Currently playing is a Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Piano, performed by violinist Krista Broadway Swider. |
| My Teaching Philosophy First and foremost, I value the student-teacher relationship and find a positive and encouraging environment to be indispensable to my students' growth as musicians. I believe that hard work, determination and dedication are essential to a student's success. While I incorporate Suzuki curriculum into my teaching, I supplement Suzuki with other important sight-reading and technical materials. I require all of my students to take weekly private lessons - even those who take only string chamber music from me. I feel that consistent interaction with a private teacher is essential to a student's musical progress. If you are searching for a teacher who is enthusiastic, passionate, and fun while being committed to excellence, you've found me! My studio is open to all ages and abilities by audition. My reasonable rates and 16 years of experience make studying with me an affordable and rewarding experience. You can reach me via the contact page or by calling my direct line at: 612.245.5367. |
